The INSIDE Contactless MicroRead® NFC chip is currently deployed in Asia’s first SIM-based NFC trial in Taiwan, having been selected as the preferred NFC chip for mobile carrier Far EasTone’s new Pay-Buy-Mobile “Beep ‘N Go” pilot project. The MicroRead® NFC chip was also chosen to be used in all Samsung and LG Electronics mobile phones and devices involved in Korea Telecom Freetel’s Pay-Buy-Mobile project. MicroRead was also selected by other Pay-Buy-Mobile participants in Australia, Malaysia, The Philippines and Singapore.
Outside of NFC, other INSIDE Contactless products are widely used in various projects and applications. Some of these include projects by the Malaysian INTI Group of Colleges for access control, parking, attendance tracking, e-payment and library material handling applications; by Singapore's Sentosa Island resort for contactless paper tickets to manage admissions and for purchases at the various attractions, retail and food and beverage outlets; and by Yangji Resorts in Korea for an RFID-based membership card system.
