Mission

The Customer Program Manager position requires managing multiple customer software payment deployments from pre sales to production launch and beyond. He/she will understand program requirements and contractual commitments necessary to carry out the projects to meet customer expectations. The Customer Program Manager is expected to work independently with team members in disparate geographic locations and provide leadership throughout the project life cycle as a point of contact between internal teams, customer teams and partners such as VISA and Mastercard.

Main responsibilities:

-       Manages program lifecycle from pre sales, through program planning, scope management,  program execution, solution approval and production launch

-       Coordinate project tasks and communicates project status internally and externally

-       Manage the risks and issues and taking corrective action where needed

-       Setup and support of Customer Workshops (Kickoff, Training,  Validation)

-       Work with the FAE and R&D teams to ensure timely response to customer technical queries through the JIRA issue tracking system

-       Identify, develop and roll out new processes and customer support artifacts in order to continuously improve customer support experience

-       Support Sales team in bidding for new projects

-       Work, think and adapt quickly in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment

Educational background

Advanced technical degree including software/engineering skills (Bachelor, Masters degree)

Professional Project Management Qualification (eg PMP) would be a plus 

Required experience

-       Strong practical experience in project management gained through a minimum 5 years of managing complex software projects, preferably in the payments industry

-       Strong customer management experience. Capable of setting and managing achievable customer expectations, developing positive relationships with client personnel and able to identify customer needs and propose appropriate business solutions. Minimum 5 years’ experience in management of multiple customers required.

Appreciated experience:

-       Experience working in the payments industry  including PCI DSS compliant programs

-       Experience working with payment schemes (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) ideally in  software payments

Required skills

-       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate on sensitive matters when needed

-       Experience in software development activities

Appreciated skills: 

-       Experience working in information security critical projects

-       Proficient in spoken Spanish

-       Experience in Agile development and Scrum methodologies

-       Software development experience - C and Java languages, Linux and Android platforms, Tomcat, Spring Frameworks
