micropass® contactless technology allows combined applications to reside on a single payment card, bringing new "stickiness" to traditional loyalty programs. Multiple points programs can be combined, allowing card issuers to forge new relationships with retailers and other corporate customers, offer highly personalized card offerings, and increase card usage. An all-in-one reward card, such as an airline frequent flier card, can validate the passenger's identification, pay for ticket, track miles, and activate privileges at the airport, such as access to the lounge, snacks, or discounts on car rentals. And retailers' existing loyalty program back-end structures can remain unchanged.
