The AT90SDC is the industry’s first dual-core secure microcontroller family designed for demanding smart card applications such as the growing Pay TV conditional access market. TwinCore microcontrollers offer two independent cores with CPU, memory, and peripherals on a single chip, unlike current single-core MCUs on the market. The TwinCore also features a built-in Flash interface for large data storage solutions, where a Flash die and the TwinCore are fitted in a standard smartcard module.
